All the scheme of the written examination :
The Written Examination will have 85 Multiple Choice (Four Choice) Objective Type Questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each. The duration of the examination will be One and a Half Hours (90 Minutes). Question in the Written Examination shall be in the following subject (of Class VIII Standard of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education)
In The General Studies : 40 X 1 = 40 Marks
On the Language Paper (Bengali/Nepali/Hindi/Urdu)-10 X 1 = 10 marks
In The Elementary Mathematics there is 35 questions. Though there is no negetive markings for the wrong answers. For both of them (General Studies and Mathematics too). But in the OMR sheet answers should be filled up correctly.

NEW Syllabus For WBGDRB which is based on the sub- bengali, General Studies(Physics, chemistry,Life science,History,Geography) Mathematics,
OLD Syllabus For WBGDRB which is based on the sub- Bengali, General Studies (Physics, chemistry, Life science, History, Geography) Mathematics.

In this Group-D selection process written examination is the main part of the whole program. All the candidates need to concentrate for this particular part too.
1. Written examination : 85%
2. Objective type Questions
3. MCQ based questions
4. All questions shall carry b01 marks each
5. The duration for the examination will be 1.30 hours.
6. Questions will be from 8th standarts.
