Eligibility criteria for Indian army job:
Academic Qualification and age criteria: According to The Posts :
Soldier General Duty:( Minimum-17 and half years and maximum-21 years)
⇒ candidates have to pass the 10th Examination with minimum 45% marks and 33% marks in each subject.candidates with higher education qualification (10+2 or more)does not need the 45% marks criteria for applying.
Soldier Technical:( Minimum-17 and half years and maximum-23 years)
⇒ willing candidates applying for the post soldier technical should pass 10+2/HS/Intermediate exam. in science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50 % marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Soldier Technical (Aviation):( Minimum-17 and half years and maximum-23 years)
⇒ candidates willing to apply for the post of Soldier Technical(Aviation) should have 10+2/HS/Intermediate pass in Science with English, Maths, Physics & Chemistry, as compulsory subjects with minimum 50 % in Aggregate and 40% Marks in each subject.
Soldier Tradesmen:( Minimum-17 and half years and maximum-23 years)
⇒ candidates need a minimum of a simple 10th class pass for all trade (Minimum 8th class pass house keeper, mess keeper & Secy only).
Soldier Nursing Assistant:( Minimum-17 and half years and maximum-23 years)
⇒ Should have passed MSc (Nursing) /PB B Sc (Nursing)/B Sc(Nursing) from INC recognized University and be a registered Nurse and Midwife from a State Nursing Council (The candidate will be required to bring original and self-attested copies of mark sheet, passing certificate and valid State Registration certificate at the time of interview).
Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical (AIAC):( Minimum-17 and half years and maximum-23 years)
⇒ candidates should have passed the H.S examination with minimum 50 % marks.40% marks in each subject.should have studied English and maths/acct/block keeping in class-xii and class-x.also should have secured 40 % marks in those two subjects.
Physical Requirement for Indian Army Recruitment Rally 2017.
Height >>> Candidates should be minimum 169 cm(162 cm for the S.Tcandidates,157 cm for Indiangorkha, and 160 cm for hill tribes.)
weight >>> Minimum of 50 kg for general candidates.(48 kg for S.T Indian Gorkha Hill Tribes candidates)
